Hunta Live has reassured comics, specifically the proposed cast of Bafunny Bafunny 2012, that all is well, despite late and/or partial payment of the cast for 2011’s highly successful arena tour. |
noah beats odds, makes leno show on time

While the controversial Mr Noah’s American odyssey has been the subject of much speculation, and rumours of challenging sets have abounded - the proof is in the pudding, and the fact is that he pulled off a faultless set on the Leno Show, the first South African comic to do so. (Albeit with a story already brewing about the originality of the material he used on Leno – but more about that when the promised proof is furnished.) |

Congratulations to the Rasdiens for the arrival of their beautiful new daughter, Layyah, over the Festive period. We believe Joey should win awards for this one, as we’ve seen the pictures, and the focus groups have been very positive so far. Of course, while he is credited as the executive producer, a full Line Producer credit must go to Cindi-Lee, without whom the picture would never have been completed, and proud brother, Hakim is also noted for his supporting role… |

This much-loved annual event will take place on July 10th at The Teatro, so keep an eye on The Official Comic's Choice Awards website for registration and voting details, as we have been warned that there will be a flood of entries this year. The Awards show itself is already in planning stages, and if you enjoyed last year, hang on to your garters, because it’s looking off the hook already, and we can’t wait for you to get a load of what we’ve got in store this time… |
