don packett

Comedian/MC/Facilitator/Speaker/Scriptwriter

biography

Born and raised in the Free State, Don knew he was destined to get out and share his findings with the world. In his early days, he felt that altruistic intent was what defined him as a person, and that helping others was what life was truly about. Becoming a clown busking in malls and performing magic at kids parties worked for a while, but somehow he ended up clothing people in his own range of T-shirts instead. He then found that life itself could be captured and shared through the focused eye of the lens and, rather disappointingly, became a film and edit monkey.

Later, he studied the teachings of Nietzsche and Voltaire, meaning to move into the practice of healing people's minds, but somehow managed to co-found a non-profit company who make a lot of profit helping companies realise why they don't know their (proverbial or literal) arse from their elbow. They make a lot of money doing this, somehow.

He's clowned, he's brainstormed, he's travelled, and he's dated girls who might somehow be linked to supermodels. He also MCs events and concerts, and will on occasion even try make people laugh. He's as awesome as he thinks he is.
